AIR QUALITY INSPECTION
THE IMPORTANCE OF AIR QUALITY ASSESSMENT
Did you know that many chronic diseases and other ailments result from poor air quality?
Did you know that people with asthma and allergies, young children and the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems are most vulnerable to poor indoor air quality?
Did you know that, according to the guide from the Institut national de Santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), nearly one-third of homes in Canada do not meet acceptable indoor air quality criteria? In this case, contamination levels range from low to very high.
Air quality testing is essential for a good quality of life. The presence of mold and mildew in the air you breathe can lead to health problems.

HEALTH RISKS RELATED TO POOR AIR QUALITY
Several studies have shown that toxins linked to the presence of mold in our homes can damage organs in the human body such as the liver, nervous system, digestive system and immune system.
This is why we must pay particular attention to the quality of the air we breathe in our homes by carrying out an air quality test. This will allow you to know the quantity of microorganisms and whether they are potentially pathogenic, toxigenic, allergenic, or irritant.

First of all
Before any collection or sampling, we carry out an analysis of the building's history and a brief interview to find out the different symptoms experienced by the occupants.
Following the interrogation, we carry out a visual inspection looking for signs of mold, odors, water infiltration, excessive humidity followed by a check of the temperature, relative humidity and the level of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide using the most meticulous instruments on the market.
The process
Using a pump and "spore traps" we take air samples which will be analyzed in laboratories accredited by the MDDEFP for the analysis of air quality parameters, and approved by microbiologists specialized in air microbiology.
Subsequently, the Diligence Inspection inspector will provide you with a detailed report including recommendations to correct the situation if he deems it necessary.
